Lake Forest, IL — (August 1, 2015)

Private Chef, Mike Kubiesa, a resident of Elmhurst and graduate of Kendall College Culinary Arts program has been named Supervisor /Coaches Chef for the Chicago Bears.  Mike will assist with menu development, supervise staff, and cook breakfast, lunch and dinner for Chicago Bears players and coaches at Halas Hall in Lake Forest.    

Mr. Kubiesa will craft meals ensuring athletes consume the proper nutritional-based meals as stipulated by Chicago Bears training and strength/conditioning staff.  He also will assist with catering high-profile events and VIP dinners.

“Combining my passion for cooking and sports is a dream come true,” said Mike Kubiesa.   “I played football in college and I’m a lifelong Chicago Bears fan.   Now I can apply my love for sourcing and cooking with the very best ingredients and creating delicious, nutritionally-balanced meals to make the Bears as fit as possible.  This is my Super Bowl!”

Mike Kubiesa is a Kendall College Advisory Board Member and has been awarded the Presidents Coin in recognition of culinary excellence.   He has worked and learned under multiple Michelin-rated Chefs, is the Chef/Owner of MGK Catering, and has cooked with celebrity chefs at the Chicago Food + Wine Festival.
